Air Floatation Principles And Processes

Air flotation machine is a kind of equipment to remove suspended matter, grease and various kinds of jelly in various industrial and municipal sewage. The equipment is widely used in oil refining, chemical, brewing, slaughtering, electroplating, printing and dyeing and other industrial wastewater and municipal sewage treatment.

According to dissolved gas is divided into: inflatable air flotation machine, dissolved air flotation machine and electrolytic air float machine. The principle is that it is difficult to dissolve in water or two or more different liquids and efficient mixing (resulting in fine bubbles particle size 20-50 microns). With tiny bubbles as the carrier, adhere to the impurities in the water particles, particles are entrapped by the bubble to the water surface and water separation, to achieve the purpose of solid-liquid separation.

1.1 air flotation process principle and process

1. Raw water into the mixing reactor, adding a chemical (degreasing or coagulant) to the mixing reactor to form a separable floc;
